On March 9, 2023, MSC IRINA, a 24,000 TEU ultra-large container ship built by Yangzi Xinfu Shipbuilding, part of Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group, was named and delivered. With an actual capacity of 24,346 TEU, it had the largest container capacity of any vessel built by the group at that time.
As a welding consumables supplier to Yangzijiang Shipbuilding, Jiangsu Daxuan Welding Material Co., Ltd. supplied products used in the vessel’s construction. This project added to Daxuan’s experience in supplying welding materials for the shipbuilding industry.
